Established in 1995, Salt Creek Restaurant has been serving up Southern hospitality for nearly three decades. Located where the Suwannee River meets the Gulf of America, the town of Suwannee is surrounded by over 52,000 acres of protected federal land, we’ve become a favorite destination for locals, travelers, and outdoor adventurers alike.

Our menu brings the flavors of the Gulf to your plate—think shrimp baskets, soft shell crab, hand-cut steaks, and made-from-scratch sides. Some favorites are offered seasonally to ensure peak freshness and every dish is prepared with care, served up with a smile, and best enjoyed with a cold drink and a waterfront view.

After a day on the water, bring your cleaned catch to Salt Creek Restaurant, and we'll prepare it to your liking—fried, grilled, blackened, or any way you prefer. Served with two sides, it's a delicious way to turn your fishing trip into a full-on feast.

We love welcoming guests by land and water. While our tiki bar and floating docks are currently under construction due to recent hurricanes, we look forward to offering boat access and waterfront seating on our back deck again in the near future. In the meantime, our indoor dining room provides the same delicious menu and friendly service. If you choose to dine outdoors, please note that the no-see-ums enjoy the view too, so we recommend bringing bug spray for a more comfortable experience.
